The Millennial Revolution: Part One
Silk Road: Drugs, the Internet, and Ross Ulbricht (Re-Air)Silk Road: Drugs, the Internet, and Ross Ulbricht (Re-Air)

Joining host Dennis McCuistion are millennial guests:

L to R: Chris Westfall, Julie Goodman, and Jose Carreon

78 million plus strong, Millennials (those born between 1980 and 2000) are now the largest and the most influential generation in America. The way they approach relationships and family (they are closer-knit than previous generations), their openness and desire for diversity, how they operate in the workplace, their attitude toward money, the media, the environment, politics and religion is setting a new wave of thinking and values.

There are also some major challenges, as well as benefits to how this generation thinks, acts and perceives the world. One “challenge” may be the constant access to information from many sources.

Data which before had to be accessed through books and more intensive research is right at their fingertips when they want it, where they they want it. Yet is their need for instant communication and social media interfering with real face-to-face communication?

Millennials want to collaborate. They want to be asked to participate, and will give their all if they believe in the mission. Their need for confirmation and approval is also very different from their older colleagues. So how does one work, relate, and befriend millennials? What are their values and goals?

And what do we do all have to do to get along? Don’t be left out in the cold, tune in for some surprises.

And once again we are honored to be underwritten by The Hatton W. Sumner’s Foundation, Inc.
