Political polarization appears to be at an all-time high. Opinions are stated as facts and too often separate friends, family, and neighbors as each demands to be “right.” The divide and differences are growing.

According to a recent Quinnipiac University national poll of adults, Americans believe the bigger danger to the U.S. comes from within our own country.

While we can point fingers at politics and politicians as having contributed to a sharply divided country, and highly charged media content, especially cable news, what other factors have contributed to the deepening chasm causing issues with our democracy?

Joining hosts, Dennis McCuistion and Jim Cathcart to discuss this divide are :

Robert Hall: Author of This Land of Strangers, and Hijacked, a recent Huffington Post article, which inspired this program; https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/democracy-hijacked-time-hard-purposeful-action-robert-hall;

Chip Pitts, former Chair of Amnesty International, U.S.A., and former President and Chair of the National Bill of Rights Defense Committee;

and Terry Paulson, Ph.D., professional speaker, psychologist and a commentator for Townhall.com and Politicrossing.com.
