Barry is a retired international oil executive having lived in and worked in numerous international locations. He has been involved with the Society of International Business Fellows and has worked with their efforts to develop leaders from the Caucasus and Central Asia. He was on the board of directors of an orphanage in Bolivia, was past president of Our Friends Place and St. Simon’s After School Program, and is currently on the board and is treasurer of The Blue Candlelight Music Series.
He received BS and MBA Degrees from Indiana University and did further work toward a Ph.D. in International Finance and Economics at New York University. He has been married to Nancy for 55 years and has two adult children and six grandchildren. He enjoys exercise and golf and was an active skier and squash player.
